Frequently Asked Questions
What should I bring?
Wear clothes that can get wet, water shoes or sandals with a back strap (no flip flops), and optionally bring a waterproof camera, sunscreen, and a change of clothes for after the tour.
Is this activity safe?
Yes, safety is our top priority. Our experienced guide Gerald has over 15 years of experience and provides all necessary safety equipment including helmets and life jackets. We also provide a thorough safety briefing before starting.
Do I need prior experience?
No prior experience is needed! Our guide will provide all necessary instructions. However, participants must be able to swim and be at least 8 years old.
What if it rains?
Light rain doesn't affect our tours since you'll be getting wet anyway! However, in case of heavy rain or unsafe river conditions, we may reschedule your tour for safety reasons.
How do I pay?
We accept cash (USD or Costa Rican Colones) on the day of your tour. For reservations, we only need your booking information through our form, phone, or WhatsApp.
